NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR:
In  NJ No 110 (NLPC), Mr. M, a 30-year-old man, pleaded guilty to damaging property, making harassing phone calls, theft, and breach of undertaking. He had been in a relationship with Ms. H but had become aggressive and threatening. He left her voicemails that were long, tedious and insulting. Ms. H reported the harassing calls and the police arrested Mr. M. While on an undertaking for this offence he was caught shoplifting.
Mr. M was sentenced to five months’ incarceration and two years’ probation. Additional orders included no contact with Ms. H and not to go near certain addresses.
